Hi. I'm Marilyn Jackson. I work for Dr. Jack Gunther and Spencer Cochran in Dallas, Texas.

Before working with Mentor® Solutions we had no way to track patients. Basically we just used our surgery scheduling books. We had forms that had our surgery rate sheets on, financial information to the patients; we had to pull and pick from one file cabinet to another.

The most important benefit that we've experienced since working with Mentor® Solutions is staff productivity. We're able to track patients, see where they are in the system; we're able to send out new patient consult packets with a wealth of information. We send all of our surgery patients pre-op packages a month before their surgery. They use that packet as a bible after their surgery to answer questions that they may have instead of calling the office and talking to the nurse. Our nurse says that her time on the telephone with patients has been cut in half since sending out the pre- and post-op booklets.

The most important tool with the new upgrades with Mentor® Solutions is the ability to email all of this information rather than mail it, and the patients can email back. That's been a lifesaver.
