Marshall Franklin
brings an
impressive
educational
background to
Mentor Solutions. He holds a Masters degree in
Business Administration and a Master of Health
Administration. But that is only part of the story
of what makes him such a tremendous asset to
Mentor Solutions.
Marshall knows the business of plastic surgery as well as anyone out there. He became a practice administrator while he was still in graduate school and immediately became responsible for transitioning the practice into a huge publicly-traded physician practice management company. With so much at stake, he had to learn everything from the ground up and wound up taking on every role in the areas of operations, financial management, cost reduction, expansion, staff management and more. Marshall says, he understands the difference between a happy and an unhappy practice' and he wants to help Mentor's clients become more successful and...yes..happy, vital, profitable places to be.
Marshall was attracted to Mentor because he was tremendously impressed with the software and how it can make a practice so much more efficient and successful. He says, “I would have loved to have that software in the practice I worked in. Life would have been a lot easier. I want to inspire Mentor practices to embrace it.”
Marshall's position at Mentor is to, as he says, "provide consulting services that go beyond the reports. I help practices on day-to-day issues that are crucial to their success, all of which I've personally faced in my career."
Marshall’s entrepreneurial spirit has driven much of his life’s work. He owns a medical spa and a restaurant. He’s a sports enthusiast and a pilot who volunteers for Angel Flight missions flying, at his own expense, medically indigent children and families to medical centers throughout the Southeast.
It’s exciting to talk to Marshall. His excitement for his life and his work are evident from the first sentence. For practices that are intent on making positive change, Marshall will be just what the doctor ordered.

Renee Smith
worked as a
practice
administrator for
a plastic surgeon in Atlanta before joining
Mentor Solutions. She started as a
receptionist gaining more and more
responsibility over her six years there.
Renee says, “I faced the same challenges
as any practice does. I just wish I had
been able to turn to Mentor Solutions

when you’re in it. I would have loved to

the business.”
Now as a Mentor Solutions Practice Specialist, Renee can share her experience with other practices. “I’ve been in every role within a practice to I can relate to what the staff faces daily. Renee graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in finance. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and, soon, with a son due in May.
