Lynn brings to Mentor Corporation 20 years of practice management experience. She says, “I’ve done it all when it comes to running a medical practice effectively and efficiently. I can relate to the challenges the staff faces every day and I understand how to make a practice more streamlined and profitable. I also understand the needs of the physicians themselves – their frustrations and goals.”
Along with her years of practice management experience, Lynn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She has been in the positions of Billing Manager to Administrator, working in general surgery, pediatrics, plastic surgery, internal medicine and orthopedics.
Having experienced the inner-workings of medical practices from so many points-of-view, she rightly says, “I understand the business of running a practice. Making a practice successful and keeping it that way takes more than expert medical skill. It takes running the office with an eye for strong financial and systems management and there is no better way to take a practice to a new level than with INFORM&ENHANCE® Software.”
Lynn sees her major responsibility as a Regional Consultant to help her practices implement growth strategies. “I want the staff and physician to truly understand how much easier their jobs will be once new ways of approaching their business are put into action.” Lynn fully understands that change is always a little challenging. When a staff has been doing things the same way for a number of years, change can be daunting. “But once they are working more efficiently and effectively,” says Lynn, “they often can’t imagine how they ran the practice the old way.” My job is to make that transition as easy as possible. Having been in their shoes, I can provide perspective from real experience.”
Tanya Delahoz
Practice Specialist, Northwest and Great Lakes Region
Tanya Delahoz has an infectious personality that suits her perfectly in working with Mentor Solutions clients. As Practice Specialist in the Northwest and Great Lakes regions, she is responsible for helping train practice teams to get the most from INFORM&ENHANCE and INSCHED Software. Her focus, as she says, is “to help each practice’s team become comfortable with the technology. I’m there to support and coach them. It’s not about me. It’s about making their jobs easier, more efficient, more streamlined so they have more time to handle other essential tasks within the practice.”
Prior to joining Mentor, Tanya worked as a Clinic Manager for the nation’s largest laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation company, using her detail-orientation and ability in sales and training to grow the Denver clinics. She has her Bachelor Degree in Business Management as well as her Aesthetician license. She brings 8 years of sales and customer service experience to the Mentor Solutions team.
Tanya says she joined Mentor because “I want to always be surrounded by excellence and there is no company with a better reputation than Mentor, one of the leaders in the industry.” Tanya mentions more than once that, as she sees it, the key to success is taking responsibility and ownership in your position. It is how she lives and what she encourages in others.
Tanya is married and lives in Denver, a city she loves. Her interests include skiing, golf and spending as much time as possible with her husband and large, loving family (she’s the oldest of five children.)
